Experience Anne Boleyn: The Musical at Greenwich’s Old Royal Naval College, a remarkable historic setting built on the site of the former Palace of Placentia. This was where Anne Boleyn’s daughter, the future Elizabeth I, was born, and where Anne was arrested in 1536 before being taken to the Tower of London.
With the custom-built, fully covered auditorium set against Greenwich’s historic architecture, the production brings audiences closer to the world in which Anne lived and the events that shaped her extraordinary story. Enjoy the atmosphere of open-air theatre with protection from the elements, rain or shine.
The production uses an immersive binaural audio system, with headphones provided for audience members. This creates a three-dimensional sound experience, making music and sound effects feel as though they move around you. The cast performs live, while the audio helps bring the production’s orchestral score and soundscape to life. Headphones are supplied at the venue and must be worn throughout the performance.
